Steve Cannon runs. I doubt he would actually call himself a runner though. He would probably refer to himself as more of an adventurer. He’s twice completed the Tuscobia Winter 150  on his fat bike, the Actif Epica and the 2016 Arrowhead 135. He’s run  nearly 100 marathons, tamed 36-hour adventure races, failed and nearly died on the Yukon River Quest. Finished the 24 hour “Equalizer” run. In 2004, he rode his bike to the start line of the Deadwood Mickleson Trail Marathon in South Dakota...from Iowa. He’s completed 18 RAGBRAI’s, five Ride the Rockies and four times the Dirty Kanza 200. He is a 2016 inductee into The Order of the Hrimthurs.  In 2009 he ran across his home state of Iowa (292 miles in 11 days) and is the first person ever to run around the great Lake Michigan (1037 miles in 40 days), averaging a marathon a day. His adventures have raised money for Livestrong, Camp Kesem and Above and Beyond Cancer. His 2012 Run around Lake Michigan was covered by NPR/IPR, WGN Radio, and The Des Moines Register.
