Tears of joy on Rainy Pass - Steve Cannon
00:00 / 00:00

If you’re blue dot watching, then you know, I’m standing on the top of Rainy Pass.

It’s so beautiful! It’s so beautiful….This is definitely one of those cry into your goggles moments. The sun is shining and the sky is blue. It’s truly a blessing to be here, and I just flew the Iowa flag from the top of this pass! I’ve never been more proud to be a Hawkeye, to be an Iowan. Oh man…

Down the pass I’ll go now. For those of you that sponsored today for $48 and made your donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I thank you with all of my heart. And so does Scott Melvin, Audrey, and Barbara, my Grandmother, and Jill, Kyle, Kathy, Ethan, Aaron, and Liz Noble, Shane...

There are too many names to read on my bike, but today we’re all together. You, me, them.

For friends, for family, for Iowa.

For dreamers and believers everywhere.

"For friends, for family, for Iowa, and for cancer fighters everywhere. This ride is for a lot of reasons, and I carry each and every one of them with me out on the trail."
