Hello everyone.
From Anchorage, where the journey is now nearly complete. I sit here happy and healthy (other than a bit of a stomach ache as I have, for the second time, tried to eat myself to a level of sickness...).
But, my journey home is nearly complete. I’ll be flying back on the 26th to Iowa, where I will deliver the Iowa flag back to our governor, very proudly.
I wanted to say one last time - THANK YOU to you all for your messages, which I have tried to respond to, every one.
More importantly, MOST importantly I wanted to thank you for your support in donating to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, which is what this was really all about - to help those people in that fight. If you haven’t donated yet and still want to, just click either of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society logos on this page, and thank you so much for your support.
Since finishing yesterday, the donations have been pouring in, which is not surprising to me because I know the quality of the people who have been involved in this journey.
I can’t wait to give big hugs to all of you. I can’t wait to get back to Iowa. To see all of you back there, and become the biggest cheerleader I can be in support of every one of your giant dreams.
So for now, from Anchorage to you. Onwards!
